Hiring For Accel Portfolio Company

The Job Roles is as follows :

Operations :

- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team

- Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments

- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations

- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced. Example, Resellers, Alliances etc.

- Oversee the company's transaction processing systems. Ex. Accounting, Billing etc.

- Implement operational best practices. Ex. Managing Resellers, advertising spend like Google Adwords etc.

- Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package

- Assist acquisition due diligence and acquisitions

Risk Management :

- Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry

- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies

- Report risk issues to the management

- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

Key requirements elaborated :

- Complete Ownership of closing of accounts, Regulatory compliances, tax strategies etc.

- Make sure we are not defaulting on any account when it comes to any tax compliances etc.

- Budgeting and Forecasting of revenues

- Impact analysis of any strategic initiative and assist in strategic planning. Example, We need to achieve 30% revenue expansion, where would we get that from, He should be able to come out with few strategies

- MIS reporting that helps takes strategic decisions and report the right view to respective stakeholders like Department owners, Top Management, Investors

- Department heads should have P&L of their own departments like Support, Enterprise Sales, SMB Sales, Engineering etc.

- Efficiency reports of employees

- Ongoing Gross Margins

- Things like, how much CAC can be increased and help in budget planning for growth

- Manage all operational accounting functions like Payroll, Vendor accounts, Partner accounts etc.

- Quarterly review expense leakages and work with relevant departments to save on costs

- Own Collections

- Ensure management has up to the minute information on the health of the company

- Manage ESOPs of the company

- Deploy company wide mechanisms that will standardize policies like Travel Policy and manage relationships with Travel Agents

- Be the single point of contact for any due diligence

- Report Financial reports to board, Forecast against performance etc.
