MBBS / MD Physician (Pharmacology, Medicine, Gastroenterology) with at least 8 -10 yrs of experience in Medico marketing with reputed pharmaceutical company/nutrition company. Preferred earlier experience in a regional role in multinationals/Indian companies   Critical Skills Required:   - Must have experience in leading teams   - Effective presentation and organizational skills  - Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, coordination, and time-management skills.   - Knowledge base   Key Responsibilities:   - Academic Interactions with Medical Profession and other stakeholders at South West Region   - Conducting CMEs/doctor group meetings at regional level in all therapy areas including pediatric nutrition and medical nutrition - close collaboration with regional sales teams to identify needs as per company priorities   - Field work with regional sales teams to build rapport with KOLs & take suggestions to improve the quality of scientific services/ brand feedback.   - Has to work with clinicians or patient advocacy groups to implement patient education programmes /doctor programmes and to increase awareness and importance of nutrition in the management of the patient/ establish nutrition as a therapy in the treatment algorithm.   - Liaison with key opinion leaders on educational and clinically/scientifically oriented initiatives to establish long-term collaborative relationships and advocacy.   Main Purpose:  - Represent company among medical authorities/paramedics and allied health care practioners in the market by active participation in symposium, conferences and speaker in CME programs through lectures/presentations to propagate scientific communication to target audience thereby creating awareness and strengthening the role of nutrition as a key intervention in better patient management across therapy areas.   - Be the operational lead for routine and planned medical affairs activities in the region by closely guiding the regional sales team and co-coordinating with other cross functions as on need basis ( training, marketing teams, trade teams, Pediatric and medical nutrition sales teams, hospital teams)   Regions to be covered: Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Karnataka and AP   Travelling Requirements: Minimum 20 days travel
