Job Responsibilities:

Insights Project Management and support by :

1. Actively contributing to scoping and choosing the appropriate methodology for research basis understanding of commercial priorities and the ABInbev global research protocol

2. Managing timelines and quality control re data capture instruments, data gathering, analysis cuts for reporting, reporting specs for multiple projects.

3. Ensuring appropriate top line and detailed outputs along with a crisp and actionable executive summary

4. Internal insights communication and influence by communicating outputs and supporting internal teams in Marketing, Sales & Ops, Finance and Planning with the above reporting on time

- Actively driving the Insights culture within the organization through coaching of peers on how to read and use the data that is available. Need to ensure that all the divisions are making the best use of the insights data available.

- Monthly reporting of the track data and Nielsen data in an easily digestible format and a cascade of the information with the relevant teams in order to ensure that required action is taken.

- Handling day-to-day external agency relationships :

1. Critiquing agency proposals in order to ensure the adoption of the most efficient and effective research approach

2. Negotiating research time and costs with agencies so as to maximise efficiency

3. Supervision of the agency work flow and always ensuring timely delivery

4. Timely payment to the vendors and efficient budget management with focus on best-negotiated rates

5. Supporting manager in day-to-day external agency relationships by supervision of work flow and key outputs and internal budget control

- Be partners with the Brand team in charting out the Brand plans and key KPIs for the brands - ensure insights direction is taken on-board in any creative execution/ consumer facing promotion etc.

- Championing and following all ABInbev policies relating to responsible marketing of beer/ or alcoholic beverages.

- Tracking of Global developments (within our group) as well as across various new research agencies for better solutions to our research needs and highlighting the same along with relevant details to the Marketing Director and Head of Insights.

- Efficient project management of multiple research projects running simultaneously.

- Synthesizing varied data sources to develop relevant insights considering multiple dimension & behavior. Challenging convention preconceptions, owning and effectively managing output.

- Working very closely with the Innovations team and the Brand team for any NPD project and making an extra effort to ensure that the overall project timelines are being met (not only the insights timelines).

- Preparing management presentations such as presentation to India ManCom and the APAC South Mancom etc.

- Sharing success stories of the Insights department with different commercial functions and with global Insights team, using hard data and facts to demonstrate how Insights has added value.

Ideal Candidate:

- MBA in Marketing from a top Tier 1 college/ PG Diploma in Marketing Management

- Keen analytical ability - the ability to synthesize insights across different sources of data

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams

- Preferably with both client side and agency experience: 3-6 years- experience working either with consumer and brand research agencies (Nielsen, Henley, TNS/RI, IMRB, Millward Brown, etc.) + client side experience with a significant FMCG company

- Experience in project management and implementation for large scale of KPIs and covering different stakeholders

- High level of energy and ability to energize others. Openness and passion for improving processes and analysis

- Strong oral and written communication skill and ability to communicate across distances, to multiple functions, and to different levels of management

- Strategic thinking, strong logic and analytical capability

- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications and system implementation
