For the financial inclusion fund, we are seeking to employ an experienced Investment Manager to be based out of Mumbai.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the due diligence for potential new investments, including market research and analysis, product / service evaluation, review of industry trends, exit analysis and reference calls to customers and business partners.

2. Preparing deal summaries and deal memos

3. Network extensively with local experts in the financial inclusion space

4. Assist portfolio companies in developing business plan, operational focus etc.

5. Analysis of operational forecasts and budgets for active or potential investments.

6. Develop strategic plan for scheduled assessment and exit roadmap for the portfolio companies.

7. Develop relationships with other potential investors and advisors and actively promote the fund mandate to attract high quality deals and create lucrative exit routes for the fund.

8. Assistance in monitoring of portfolio investments

9. Extensive travel across India and often in rural areas

Required Skills:

1. Five-Seven years of experience in operations, or in strategic consulting with a good understanding of operations of startup businesses & financial modeling.

2. MBA from top-tier colleges

3. Financial Services sector experience with some understanding of technology in financial services

4. Analytical and presentation skills

5. Strong interpersonal and communications skills

6. Ability and enthusiasm to travel and identify innovative businesses.

7. Flexible self-starter

8. Strong financial modeling and accounting skills; proficiency with spreadsheets
