Aakash Institute - Business Analyst - Digital Product & Innovation Team

The incumbent will be a part of Aakash Digital Product & Innovation Team, which manages the digital/eLearning products business.

He/she will work along with Product Manager(s) to execute the product roadmap and ensure smooth product operations. The role is a combination of Product Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Vendor Management and Product Operations Management.

Responsibilities:

- Crystallize business requirements & create Product Requirement Documents for various digital products/solutions/features (which includes mobile app, eLearning portal etc.)

- Release planning and prioritization of release features/enhancements

- Interact with engineering team (Internal and External) & monitor day-to-day progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions

- Work with the engineering team to resolve issues identified during test phases

- Participate in User Acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality

- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through IT systems and/or non-IT driver changes

- Work closely with Product Team/Development Team/Operation Team/Business Users to gather & analyze operations data

- Analyze data to come up with actionable insights to improve products and identify opportunities

Skills & Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience of working in a product/software development setup

- MBA + B.Tech./B.E.

- Good understanding of SDLC and/or agile

- Good problem solving and analytical skills

- Ability to analyze data (sometimes unstructured and incomplete) and come up with insights

- Strong business acumen and ability to understand consumer requirements

- Good to have, but not mandatory - experience in:

- Consumer internet product space

- Digital marketing and Google Analytics

- Education sector

- Mobile apps

- UI/UX
