Job Purpose:

The role of Business Analyst will study business requirements, develop specification, work with development team and test buit system in business Intelligence and analytics area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Participate in the development of strategies, roadmaps and business cases for Analytics and BI solutions

- Use business requirements to define technical requirements for ETL, EDW and reporting solutions

- Define and diagram the data warehouse architecture and application architecture based on technical requirements

- Work with system engineers to complete the technical architecture

- Assist in the development, documentation and application of best practices and procedures that govern DW implementations and operations

- Review and evaluate technology for consideration in DW solutions, set technology standards

- Lead technical teams (data architecture, data integration, business intelligence and data analytics) to design, develop and implement DW solutions that meet requirements and key performance indicators

- Work with DBAs, application specialists and technical services to tune performance of the system.

- Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes and documents court business rules, functions and requirements.

- Maintains wizard-driver configuration tables in the case management system(s).

- Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.

- Provides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff..

Qualification:

- An experience of 2-4 years of business Intelligence implementation ( ETL, EDW and reporting tools) B.Tech and preferably MBA from premier institution.

Skill Requirements:

- Proven success as a BA in ETL, EDW, and reporting system development

- Excellent documentation skills, ability to produce diagrams and schematics that visualize technical solutions

- In-depth understanding of DW, analytics ( predictive) implementation best practices and application development best practices (agile methodology)

- 3 years experience hands on ETL, EDW technical development; data architecture, data integration, business intelligence and data analysis tools

- 3 years experience leading DW technical implementation teams; data architecture, data integration, business intelligence and data analysis tools

- 3 years experience developing EDW and reporting solution

- Thoroughness and attention to details

- Ability to work in multi stakeholder environment.

- Ability to conceptualize and articulate product functionality requirements

- Ability to develop business flows using flow modelling techniques

- Understanding to model analysis based on data analytics technique.

- Ability to identify areas of inefficiency and nature of training needed to correct

- Decisiveness and leadership, demonstrated through commitment and relationship skills

- Strong communicator, confident over a number of different channels

- Demonstrated to be a self-initiative starter

- Clear thinking and ability to effectively communicate.
