Academic Credentials and Experience

- MBA ( with specialization in Finance or Business Planning & Strategy ) from premier B Schools

- Minimum of 7 years- experience post PG in a similar role

- Experience in IT / ITES / KPO industry preferred.

Role & Responsibility

The Business Manager, attached to the CDO's office will be responsible for working on assignments that are complex in nature, requiring a high degree of judgment, tact, creativity and initiative to resolve problems.

The role is required to provide high-level, confidential and efficient services to the CDO.

Ability to adjust direction in response to changing work situations, to accommodate different working styles and to prioritize one's own work to align to the organization's business goals will be key to success.

Key responsibilities:

- To assist the CDO & senior leadership team in strategic & operational decision making and driving strategies based on micro level data analytics

- Provide high-level networking & coordinating support to the CDO with a demonstrated ability to improve procedures and meet demanding deadlines

- Work closely with the CDO to monitor the geo's business performance against business objectives and targets; use reports to track progress against targets and prepare regular reports for the Management team

- Efficient handling of top & confidential correspondence and management of document flow

- Plan & coordinate conferences, meetings & develop presentations

- Screening and prioritizing issues and tasks requiring approval and briefing of important urgent issues

- Liaison between all impacted departments to ensure proper communications and reporting practices

- Organize the details of special events, corporate agendas and itineraries

- Prepare and analyze various business related reports for the senior management team and publish dash boards / business report summary for reviews

- Managing the process and contributing to the development of annual plans / reports, budgets and targets

- Manage the administrative processes associated with complaints and conduct including arranging panels and hearings as required

- Completes monthly, quarterly or annual business forecasts and reports

- Contribute to the formulation and dissemination of annual plans, monitor their implementation and make appropriate changes within areas of responsibility

- Any other duties as maybe deemed suitable to the post, as agreed with the CDO and within the context of the contract of employment. Priorities are likely to vary from time to time.
