Head/G.M/V.P- Freight Forwarding
The Company is a start up ( Logistics co ), founded by SCM professionals and
has aggressive expansion plans in the coming months including venturing in
to the Freight Forwarding business. They have a pan India presence with top
notch professionals heading various LOB's. They are currently into LCL, FCL,
Air Freight & Project Cargo and work with some of the big names in the
business.
The role :
. Should have a consistent track record of managing large SBU's
with measurable performances.
. Should have extensive exposure to Air Freight, Sea Freight, 3 PL,
Warehousing, selling supply chain solutions, managing large accounts and
large deals.
. The individual will be required to set up the Freight Forwarding
business and recruit a team.
. Penetrate key accounts in the first six months and set up offices
in strategic cities.
. Excellent sales management skills, team management skills,
. Networks within the industry and corporates are other
prerequisites for this role.
The Individual:
. Experience : 12-15 yrs with at least 5 years in leadership roles
. Qualification : Graduate + MBA ( not mandatory )
. Reports to : Director
Target industries : Logistics & 3 PL Companies ,FMCG, Retail, Shipping
