Location: Position : Buyer - Fixtures & Shelving
Level : Deputy Manager/ Manager
Salary Band : 5 - 7 Lakh
Company : India's leading Retail company.
Job Purpose:
This role will be responsible for Availability of Fixtures & Shelving at optimum rates to ensure timely roll-out of stores.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement of Metal Shelving, Wooden fixtures, Trolleys and Checkouts at optimum rates.Optimize procurement cost of fixtures through -
1. Negotiations
2. Multiple vendor options
3. Inventory optimization
Coordination with Vendors, Project team, Logistics & Warehouse to ensure timely availability of fixtures
Vendor development & Management to ensure multiple vendor options and resultant competitive rates. Coordination with commercial / warehouse / site teams to ensure timely document processing and payment release.
Qualification & Competencies:
Diploma / BE (preferably Mechanical)
Techno- commercial skills (preferably persons having dealt with Metal & Wooden Fixtures / Shelving
Strong negotiation skills
Good Inter-personal skills & Effective communication skills
Experience:
4 -7 years as a buyer
