Location: Our client is a global leader in the area of mobile telephony. They are looking to fill the position of a Trade Compliance Specialist to support on Import - Export and related Regulatory requirements in order to ensure legal Compliance, on-time deliveries and perfect order fulfillment.
This position is responsible for Customs clearance of Locally Procured goods, i.e. from the SEZ Units, EOU Units, and the DTA. This position has to ensure the prompt clearance of all the local supplies and also ensure compliance with the Customs & other regulatory requirements. This position also focuses on other complex Customs clearance activities such as the High Sea Sale transactions, Transfer of Goods to other SEZ / EOU Unit on Loan basis, Re-imports & Re-exports etc.
The ideal candidate should have a 4 – 8 years experience in managing the Trade Compliance / Import – Export / Logistics function in a leading MNC manufacturing Co or Corporate or MNC Logistics Service Provider.
The Candidate should have hands on experience in dealing with Customs / Central Excise / Govt. agencies and in-depth knowledge of Customs, SEZ & Foreign Trade Policy. A DIPLOMA IN CUSTOMS LAWS AND PROCEDURES FROM THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND TAXATION AND CERTIFICATIONS ON VARIOUS PROGRAMS OFFERED BY THE CUSTOMS HOUSE LICENSE AND REGULATIONS BOARD WOULD BE A HUGE PLUS.
