This requirement drives the need to staff critical roles with highly independent supply chain experts possessing excellent communication, team-building and influencing skills who can be entrusted to manage strategic functional relationships with external groups.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic India based supply chain program manager to manage the planning relationship with multiple operations teams and production sites and spanning across one or more product lines. The ideal candidate will have an analytical bent with an assertive, yet collaborative and team-oriented style, with experience influencing diverse components with a company.

Key Responsibilities Include
• Drive optimal supply-demand balancing with close coordination with supply chain stakeholders at Cisco and external partners on planning issues with initiatives
• Work with CM partners to ensure EDI transmission is validated and provide accurate supply capabilities in response to ensure high supply plan accuracy
• Apply statistical methods to analyze supply chain flexibility and engage with operations and logistics to drive cost-benefit analysis and propose adjustments
• Leadership of material allocations and supply-demand matching for global issues including last-time buys
• Build, analyze and report all supply chain planning related metrics and drive relevant optimization activities
• Support product lifecycle transitions including end of sale and new product introduction by ensuring the supply chain is receiving and reacting to the demand information, including ROP sizing.
• Regular development and presentation of executive communications regarding supply chain performance

Specific Skills and Experience
• Broad program management experience in supply chain
• Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders,
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
• Experience managing strategic relationships with partners, suppliers or customers
• Rigorous analytic skills demonstrated through educational or professional background
• Excellent organization skills to follow-through on actions and activities
• Software skills including Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP, or other planning/ERP systems strongly desired

Educational Background
• Bachelor’s Degree Required with minimum 6-8 yrs of experience
• MBA or Equivalent Preferred
