Title: Manager-Procurement (Marketing A&P and Commercial & General)

Reporting to: Vice-President Procurement
Location: Gurgaon

Responsibilities:
1. Drive sourcing strategies in media spends (through media buying agency) in alignment with Brand teams. Drive cost and process efficiencies in the media spend by designing and implementing KPIs for the agency and monitoring/updating progress to key stakeholders. 2. Supply market analysis in media and suggesting opportunities to brand teams to capitalize on cost/impact innovations. 3. Provide consultancy/facilitation to Brand/Marketing teams on media pitches/creative agency contracting/other activations in media category. 4. Strategize & manage implementation of activities for procurement of other marketing spends including creative production, PR & promotional items as well as other categories in order to deliver value & competitive edge to the business. 5. Provide consultancy/facilitation to other areas in GSK (i.e. Sri Lanka, South East Asia) within International on conducting media pitches, media buying, creative agency contracting etc. 6. Engage with global media and CnG procurement teams to ensure alignment with global process/contracts/best in class practices across ISC markets. 7. Manage capital & revenue expenditure & other C&G (IT, facilities, rental, etc) spends and maximize value addition to the business by effectively strategizing & concluding commercial deals on non-inventory categories. 8. Initiate & manage major cost improvement programmes for strategic categories expenditure, resulting in significant savings or cost control. 9. Undertake complex contractual & business negotiations at executive level with major suppliers.
The role has reporting of one SGM (Promotion and Marketing activation) and one buyer (Commercial/General spends)
Education/Knowledge/Technical Skills:
1. Post Graduate in Business Management 2. On- hand experience in media buying/planning and cross functional knowledge of other marketing spends (promotions, activations, consultancies). Experience in marketing will be added advantage 3. Knowledge of budgetary & financial management processes. 4. Project Management Skills 5. Knowledge of SGM tools & techniques and trak systems. 6. Ability to analyse complex data towards generating logical options and solutions.

Preferred Companies:
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant post qualification experience with at least 2-3 years at a middle/senior management level in the Procurement function in a similar industry
