    Position: Head - State Operations

    Operations

    Band: 4 (Mgr/Senior Manager Level)

    Reporting to: Head Operations at H.O.

    Location: Punjab, Haryana (Karnal), Gujarat (Ahmedabad) ,
    Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Budgeting & Forecasting:

    To develop annual/quarterly state plans with strategy including: sales
    forecasts, category forecast, OPEX budget proposal and local area
    marketing plan Over viewing budget allocations for each channel,
    overseeing the operational parameters at the store level and ensuring
    adherence.

    Cost control:

    To ensure effective application of operating systems, policies and
    procedures, particularly with a focus on stock and cash
    integrity/security and Effective stock management through forecasting of
    products and proactive alignment to store/customer profile Regular
    review of P&L statements for the state Ensuring
    Achievement of stock loss targets Stock holding/stock days cover
    maintenance

    Sale:

    To achieve profitability objectives by driving budgeted revenue,
    controllable expenditure, productivity, and contributions by area/store.
    Ensure adherence to monthly targets and guidelines

    Business Expansion:

    To achieve store expansion program through effective roll out plans
    across the region, sourcing sites, recruitment and training of staff and
    coordinating shop fit outsourcing /Identification
    of new sites Achieving of set opening dates

    Recruitment/ Training/ Development:

    To optimize staff performance through goal setting, coaching &
    development, including performance reviews and Recruitment, training and
    development of staff in line with role profiles and core
    competencies. Organize regular staff evaluation programmes Random checks
    on staff performance and training plan overview

    Store Procedures:

    To deliver a superior customer service experience by effectively
    managing after sales service, sales procedures and policies, right
    product mix per location, with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Ensure
    store procedures are followed as per company guidelines

    Communication:

    To improve and develop key partner (Marketing, Category etc.) relations
    through implementing customer strategies, proactively managing product
    range & pricing, credit arrangements and conditions of agreement.
    Implementation and execution of store Plano grammas.

    Experience/ Qualifications:

    Graduate/Preferably MBA with total 8 to 10yrs of
    experience in retail operations and at least 2-4yrs at area manager
    level
