Job Code: 7997
Location: A leading MNC requires Manager Supply Chain at Mumbai. The position is a
strategic one and reports to the leadership in India and overseas .
Key Result Areas:
Ø Manages all functions of Logistics, including inventory planning,
inventory control, warehousing, transportation, fleet operations, logistics
planning, order processing and customer service. May be responsible for
purchasing, quality, safety & compliance functions.
Ø Perform COG & sourcing analysis to determine most efficient supply chain.
Ø Implements standard logistics metrics and reporting through network.
Ø Ensures that all internal and external members of logistics network meet
or exceed standards.
Ø Implements system to assess, select and manage third party logistics
providers. Negotiates contracts.
Required:
Ø University degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Transportation,
Engineering, or related field.
Ø Min. 10 years management experience . Must have significant experience
in a high-SKU logistics network.
Ø Knowledge of accounting & financial measurements of Logistics. Strong
Computer literacy and demonstrated use of technology to improve logistics
performance.
Ø Demonstrated leadership and communication skills. Ability to formulate a
team focused on functional success.
Ø Tactical and Strategic thinking skills
Ø Fluency in English .
Ø Experience in 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S
