    strengthening the most vulnerable populations.

    The organization manages a dynamic, multi sector social development and
    emergency humanitarian response program across many states in India &
    core program areas are in health, livelihoods and education. The
    organization works with public and private sector agencies, local
    partners and communities to facilitate lasting change in the well-being
    and social position of vulnerable groups, especially women and girls,
    through institutional strengthening, capacity building, piloting and
    replicating new models of service delivery, advocacy and influencing
    policy.

    The organization is going through a major change as it is going through
    its organizational evolution.

    Senior Manager Human Resources

    Location – New Delhi

    JOB SUMMARY

    This position is primarily meant to provide support in the specific area
    of development of human resources, talent management, staff motivation
    and morale and staff relationships. Staff development starts right at
    the outset with the recruitment and induction of the right kind of
    `talent' in the right place.
    RESPONSIBILITIES (Include following but not limited to)

    1. Recruitment: Develop internal capacity to determine the
    positions required in the new structure, (and in light of project
    closures), analyze the positions within the overall structural
    framework, and define the competencies required for these positions.

    1. Gender and Diversity: Suggest and enforce ways of addressing
    gender and diversity issues within the organization.

    1. Managing Change: Take a strategic role in managing change
    associated with organizational evolution.

    1. Staff issues: Help address emerging staff issues due to the
    transition process and project closures sensitively and
    empathetically. These will include, stress management, lack of
    motivation, low morale, job insecurity and uncertain future.

    1. Psycho-social support: Support in managing individual staff
    issues through counseling, etc., that may be required on an
    individual case basis, depending on how one is able to cope or not cope
    with the stress related to job insecurity.

    1. Support to staff: Help and coordinate with state directors in
    assisting staff to take a more professional approach in developing
    their CVs.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Based in New Delhi with 25% field travel.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    Qualifications: Master's degree in a field with relevance to the
    position such as behavioral science, psychology, social work, sociology,
    human resource management, organization development MBA(HR), PGD in
    Human Resources from leading Institutions.

    Experience: Around 8 years of experience in handling gamut of HR
    responsibilities in professional organizations. Prior experience of
    managing transition/change is desired. Relevant experience from Social
    Sector will be an advantage.

    With relevant qualifications & experience there is need to have strong
    appreciation of & motivation for career in social sector and playing an
    important role in transition management.

    Languages: Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi. Must
    have significant and proven writing skills.
