Role: HR Generalist
General Purpose
a.. Acts as the primary HR advisor and coach to local (East Region) line managers in people management & HR practices, within the India Sales and Marketing organization. The region usually is characterized by changing business scenarios and may consist of diverse functions. b.. May also manage a function (eg Talent Acquistion) within HR across the Inda Sales & Marketing structure. c.. Enables business to achieve their targets
Main Responsibility Areas
a.. Coaches line managers to increase understanding and application of Nokia People Processes. b.. Applies experienced level HR Generalist knowledge to deliver full scope of strategic HR services (including consulting on Resourcing, Compensation & Benefits, HRD/ Competence Development, and Retention) in line with business strategy needs/situation. Implements programmes to support translation of local business targets into HR action. c.. Provides feedback to Cluster HR team on local business needs and process improvement. d.. Manages local change planning and implementation of global change programs. e.. Partners with other colleagues within the immediate HR network (site and/or business) to achieve targets through Business & HR action plans. f.. Provides feedback based on experiences to the development and the implementation of processes/products/ services to support business strategies at a local level. g.. May manage people or a team in line or progam mode of working. Mostly is an individual contributor role.
Individual Portfolio
a.. At least 6 years relevant work experience Company / Industry - IT / Telecom / FMCG b.. Education - HR MBA from XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD or any other B+ and above school c.. Willingness to work in Kolkata
