Purpose This position, reporting to the CEO is accountable for leading the Finance team in managing the Foundation’s financial and accounting policies, systems and processes, tax and regulatory requirements, payroll systems and processes and Foundation controls, ongoing financial modeling and annual business plan. Provide leadership and coaching to the Team
Responsibilities
Accounting, Payroll, Financial Systems and Financial Controls: * Responsible for the delivery of costs effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies and processes that meet the current and future business requirements of The company * Oversee the External Audit, review and analyze results and recommend for approval the Audited Financial Statements. * Managing Financials of various regions like APAC, EMEA, USA and India o Oversee the Cash Management function, including banking relationships. o Ensure the compliance with all internal policies and relevant regulations and ensure filings are completed in a timely manner. o Develop and oversee the Internal Review function to ensure that finance and operations controls and policies are complied with in the provincial and field offices. o Ensure effective follow up processes are in place. o Oversee the continuous improvement of Accounting and Financial Processes and the development of the team with the goal to achieve best practices and optimal output. o Develop and oversee accounting policies and procedures to meet both current and future business models
Cash and Risk Management o Responsible for the management of the Foundation’s Insurance and Risk Management program o Oversee the annual insurance renewal process and ensure appropriate coverage is maintained at all times o Ensure appropriate legal review of contracts and solicit external legal advice as required. o Review financials of preferred vendors. o Manage ongoing banking relationships for maximum efficiency o Develop cash flow forecasting and maintain a long term cash forecast
Leadership o Develop Finance and Accounting team goals that are fully aligned with the The company goals o Provide coaching, guidance and support, set professional development plans to assist employees to reach their full potential through the Performance Management process. o Ensure the team delivers the highest standard of departmental, cross departmental and cross foundation teamwork and customer service o Ensure optimal deployment of resources to achieve business goals
Management Reporting o Responsible for Financial Management Reporting o Ensure financial management reporting tolls and processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the business o Develop and prepare a monthly Management Reporting Package. o Present monthly and year-to-date financials with accompanying analysis of result o Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metrics reports, and conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required
Budgeting and Financial Modeling o Lead the annual business plan development and budgeting process o Lead the quarterly outlook process o Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to business partners. o Lead the financial modeling and analysis to support the development of long term strategic initiatives and business plans
General * Support the Finance & Investors, Executive management and Audit Committees. o Special Projects as assigned CEO o Ability to grasp Foundation’s short and long term priorities and develops systems, processes and policies to support the achievement of them in a cost effective manner. o On an ongoing basis, evaluated and prioritizes activities, focuses people resources against key business priorities
Other Department Responsibilities o M&A o Legal ( Company Law ), o Taxation ( State, Form C, VAT, Excise Tax, Service Tax. Octroi etc), o Logistics ( Domestic, InFlight Sale,), o Vendor Management (Procurement of Hardware Servers, Switches/routers etc, Negotiation Skills)) o Facilities Management ( Agreements for Infrastructure like space, guest houses etc )
Key Requirements for Success * Qualification : CA * Relevant Experience – 10-15 years in Finance in leading IT Company (preferably Telecom Sector) * Working experience with PE investors in his prior role will be additional qualities * Sound knowledge in accounting and finance with at least 6 years supervisory experience. * Strong analytical and financial skills * Handling other region financials like USA, APAC, MEA, etc. * Sound knowledge compliance * Excellent hands on experience in Tally and Quick Books * Strong communication / interpersonal skills to be able to interact at all levels and be effective as part of a broader team of global business managers * Exceptional Interpersonal skills, a collaborative style and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels * Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively within time constraints * Knowledge of Financial and ERP systems * Ability to formulate and deliver senior management level presentations * Excellent working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
