The Financial Inclusion Sector Financial Inclusion (FI) is the term describing the directive of the Govt. of India to bring banking services to those sections of citizenry that have hitherto been denied or found very difficult to use banking channels for their financial requirements. With the increased allotments of benefits both cash and non cash being made available under schemes sponsored by Govt. of India/State Governments, the Union Finance Ministry had mandatedthe delivery of such benefits to be made electronically using biometrics, smartcards and mobile POS technology, integrated with banking systems.
Bartronics has been active in providing solutions and services in the eGovernance sector, by providing components such as POS machines, smartcards, enrolmentsservices for DL/RC, PDS and other projects. With the increased attention to FI, Bartronics made inroads via various pilots and was subsequently awarded the Bhamashah Project, a Govt led women empowerment initiative, in Rajasthan, involving 50 lakh BPL households for both the RSBY and FI schemes. Since then BIL has been awarded contracts from 9 banks to date (AB, AGB, BoM, IndB, SBBJ,SBI,SBP,SBM,SBT).

Led by an experienced and professional team, this bespoke division will take over all the FI projectsfrom the incumbent group and grow the business as an SBU.
The objective of this divisionis to provide formal financial services such as savings, credit, remittance, and insurance to unbanked or under-banked customers across Indiain rural, semi-urban as well as urban areas. Our objective is to provide banking services to 1 crore customers by March 2012. The reach to these vast numbers of customers is accomplished through the set-up of 1000s of Customer Service Points (CSPs) across India in our areas of operation. The set-up and eventual management of these CSPsis a taskthat demands dedication and ability to work in the rural landscape. To realise the Company's strategic objectives for eGovernance in general and FI in particular, team augmentation is needed to set-up thetechnical and physical infrastructure, launch pilots and quickly convert them into large scale rollouts. This will require tremendous effort and innovation over the next two years.
Who are we looking for BC organization will service customers by leveraging 1000s of Customer Service Providers (CSPs). Thus the CSPs become the bankers for end-customers. These CSPs are managed by employees in the field. Central and Field operations teams work together to ensure a defined outcome for our customers is assured. VP – Operations will lead these teams and be responsible for all customer-facing outcomes.
Central Operations team will undertake the following tasks: 1. Management of transactions generated from field, and integration with client banks’ CBS 2. Cash Management: Managing various bank accounts, flow of funds between various entities, tracking limits on funds held by CSPs 3. Maximizing the potential of CSPs and leveraging it is a substantial challenge the candidate will need to address, in addition to ensuring the CSPs are servicing the end-customers within the framework laid down by the client bank and RBI.
The candidate will lead teams to define processes for customer acquisition and servicing on a large scale with maximum use of technology to ensure automatic controls and auditability.
