Asst. Manager – Procurement (Raw Materials)

Job Description:

 - Ensuring raw materials are purchased cost effectively whilst complying to quality standards

 - Ensure on – time delivery of raw materials consistent with production schedule & inventory norms

 - Market intelligence on price trends & expected movements

 - Benchmarking current procurement rates against industry price trends

 - Input-linked costing & supply agreements with vendors for raw materials

 - Close coordination with Technical Team on new vendor evaluations & complaint redressals

 - Implement vendor evaluation & reward systems

 - Lead negotiations with suppliers on terms of engagement

 - Close coordination with APAC Regional Sourcing Team on new developments

 - Implement Global initiatives on Supplier Relationship Management

 - Design & implement SOP for procurement

 - MIS on procurement efficiencies and cost saving opportunities

 - MBA – Operations/Supply Chain

 - Total experience of 2-4 years in procurement

 - Good negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills
