DESIGNATION: DGM-SALES
JOB PROFILE: Will be responsible for driving all India sales of 35 retail stores and accountable for top-line profitability and increased sales growth. Aggressively implement local area activities as a part of market development and driving walk-ins. Needs to manage sales force across India, customer service and sales administration. Will be responsible for operational profitability at store level.
CANDIDATE PROFILE: Graduate/MBA with 10-12 years of experience in handling retail sales with a lifestyle brand and handling all India sales for at least 2-3 years.. Jewellery experience will be an added advantage.
Would prefer the candidate to have actual retail experience – hands-on, wherein he would have managed a chain of stores – regional / pan-india with a sizable team (atleast 80-100 people) – someone who has worked with the retail team to “make it happen” as opposed to just the “planning” types. Directly responsible for managing the P&L – understanding of critical costs @ retail level. Non-jewellery is fine - maybe apparel, garments. Also ideas on how to reach out to customers if footfalls / sales are low – BTL activities. LOCATION - MUMBAI. Candidates from Mumbai only should apply.
