Direct/ Indirect Tax – Analyst / Consultant (2 -6 years)
We have an immediate requirement for the positions as Direct/ Indirect Tax Analyst/ Consultant level for a leading Consulting company at Chennai /Bangalore/ Gurgaon.
Consultant Level – 2 – 6 yrs
* Education: Should be Post graduates (M.B.A, C.A. or C.F.A) with exposure to Tax function. with strong Sabrix / Vertex/Longview/ any other leading Tax application skills
IFRS / US GAAP experience or knowledge would be preferred
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Design Direct/ Indirect Tax related processes in the form of flow charts and process narratives.
* Perform current state analysis of tax related processes to articulate solutions and project methodology pertaining to tax function transformation or tax applications relevant to the context in Client conversations and demonstrate ability to sustain opinion with sufficient examples / expertise
* Impart strong functional knowledge and guidance to enable Tax Function to be migrated to Tax Tools and Application
* Support Source Data Sensitization and Data Evaluation analysis to enable successful tax function transformation.
* Support configuration of the tools and applications to meet client requirements
* Support UAT, other testing including defining the test scripts to ensure that the functionality changes / new requirements gathered are built appropriately
* Assist in the development of capabilities in the direct/ indirect taxes space
* Support and help in business development and marketing activities to grow the Direct or Indirect Tax consulting practice.
