I represent a search firm and have been mandated by a client of ours to close the following mandates to be based out of Noida.
This is for one of our client which a software product company offering innovative and value driven SaaS based solutions to the hospitality and online travel industry.

Designation: Vice President Engineering
Job Purpose:
To manage development and delivery of web-based travel related software product/s.
Work Experience (Knowledge, Skills and Behavior)
Knowledge
- Proven experience in managing development &delivery of highly scalable & robust web-based applications on Microsoft Technologies using ASP .Net,C#,SQL Server,Web Services.
- Should be hands on in architecting,designing,debugging,technical problem solving,prototyping &performance tuning.
- Ability to learn a new domain quickly.Ability to translate user needs into features and then into detailed requirements,covering aspects related to workflows, usability and operational guidelines.Guiding preparation of high level and low level designs from the requirements.
- Project Management skills in managing development teams of 15+members. Ability to optimally allocate tasks and properly utilize resources.Well versed with techniques of monitoring and tracking progress on projects. Orienting and mentoring team members to deliver high quality software.
- Strong emphasis on process orientation.Proactive and continuously seeking improvisation of processes.Develop &use data metrics to make informed decisions.
- Possess leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner. Ability to retain and motivate high performing team members.
- Preferably experienced in other aspects of a software product environment like production support,service delivery,content delivery,rollout,etc.
- Preferably experienced in the development of high traffic websites,search technologies,web spiders,etc.
- Preference for experience working in a product company or outsourced product development projects.Should atleast understand the end to end product lifecycle.Ability to set and drive around product priorities.
- Preference for knowledge in .Net 3.5,WPF,WCF,Silverlight,VSTS2008,SQL Server 2008.
