Job Title: Manager Trade Finance

Reporting to: Head Trade Services
Purpose of Department:
The Trade services operations unit at HSBC Group Service Centre (GSC) primarily processing of Trade transactions (Import and Export) for the tier I and II cities in the India Area Management region.
Job Description:
* To manage the trade team, along with relationships with existing trade customers/relationship manager.
* To ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining agreed levels of customer service.
* To enhance productivity, control risk and ensure best practice.
* To manage day to day transactional requirements of Trade Services and commodity financing clients within TATs.
* To ensure the function of trade services at GSC is efficient and complies with all the regulatory requirements and internal controls in place.
* Through knowledge of RBI circular, FEMA guideline and UCP/URC/URR guidelines.
* Liaising with MO SO at the branch for any clarifications on discrepancies
* To deliver the requirements as per agreed SLA with TSC, INM.
* Checking of all LC documents thoroughly and ensuring prompt advice to MO SO at the branch.
* Respond to branch/auditors queries promptly.
* Ensure all internal/external reporting is done within deadlines.. To maintain internal control standards including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Skills/Experience Required:
* Knowledge of Trade and commodity financing product
* Experience of handling Trade team for at least 4 to 5 years.
* Knowledge of ICC guidelines like UCP/URR/RBI circular
* Excellent interpersonal Skills
* Process Orientation and Analytical Skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* High energy and drive.
* Ambitious and Hard Working.
Additional Information / Specific Skills (If Any):
Trade products knowledge both on Import and Export side along with good communication skills and excel/PowerPoint skills will be added advantage. CDCS certified.
Salary 6L to 7L
