Role Purpose:
Global Resourcing is a key strategic initiative of the Group for centralizing back office and voice related operations of Group entities from around the world. Global Resourcing is a major contributor to the Group Strategic Plan of improving the cost income ratio of its businesses.

The vision of Change Delivery (CD) is to have an outstanding track record of delivery and benefits realisation, across a portfolio of change initiatives that support success of business and support functions.

The mission of Change Delivery is to

 - Drive change improvements in customer experience and unit costs through automation, standardization and optimization of 's operating model covering people, processes, products and channels and measure realization of the results

 - Align the Bank's change portfolio to reflect business priorities, investment parameters and resource capabilities along with Software Delivery and Service Delivery

 - Execute high quality, cost effective and business focused projects and programmes

 - Deliver strategic business benefits to Group Businesses and support functions through successful project / programme delivery

 - Provide highly skilled project and programme expertise across the Business and support functions

 - Offer a dynamic and intrinsically satisfying working environment for Change Delivery professionals

The job holder is guided by the Head of CD, Group Standards Manual and Group Operations FIM, GR FIM and local laws and regulations in each country

The purpose of the role is to work on the following activities which are aligned to realise this scope

 - Manage/ Mentor the Flagship business projects and drive multi location implementation

 - Facilitate prioritization of change initiatives and ensure optimal resource allocation and utilisation

 - Be accountable for successful completion of the projects within scope, on time, within budgeted cost/effort

 - Be responsible for quality of project deliverables and realization of benefits as projected in the Business case

 - Mentor project teams to complete prioritized projects, negotiate and eliminate impediments to project completion

 - To manage a team of project managers

 

Education / Relevant Experience / Other Qualifications

 - A post graduate in any discipline overall experience of 8 years with 3+ years experience in managing several projects

 - For site CD roles 6-Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent

 - MBA/PMP certification is preferred for roles which are part of the CD Central Team

 - Proven planning and organizing skills

 - Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques and tools

 - Demonstrate the effective application of a range of project management techniques and principles

 - Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs and develop integrated, creative, technical solutions.

 - Proven ability in team leadership, people and resource management

 - Work effectively with virtual cross functional teams (without line reporting)

 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships

 - Able to assimilate a large amount of information and make effective decisions on a wide range of issues

 - A strong desire to achieve outstanding customer service
