Senior Associate – Research (3-5 years)

Intellecap is seeking a Senior Associate-Research within the Knowledge and Insights team to manage our current research initiatives, identify new research opportunities, and build our research business. The position entails selecting research topics, designing research studies and surveys, writing analytical reports, and driving research execution.

Position: Senior Associate - Research

Location: Mumbai, India

Experience/Education:
    * Post graduate in Economics/Development or its equivalent;
    * Knowledge of social enterprise and/or development is necessary;
    * 3-5 years prior experience in social development research preferred.

Skills:
    * Excellent analytical, research and writing skills with ability to write articles, papers, reports
    * Ability to generate own ideas for new areas to research and explore, preferably in the social enterprise and financial inclusion space;
    * Ability to work independently with minimal guidance;
    * Ability to work with a global, multi-cultural team of professionals.

Responsibilities:
    * Manage current research grants and research outputs including surveys, research reports, landscape studies, newsletters;
    * Identify new research opportunities and prepare proposals to secure new mandates;
    * Design surveys, studies, and data creation;
    * Devise dissemination strategy for current research outputs, utilizing external media, as well as social media tools;
    * Write analytical reports and studies;
    * Liaison and lead meetings with research-focused clients;
    * Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed, to conduct primary research and secondary dialogues with stakeholders, as needed.
