Position Description Designation – Marketing and Sales Head (9-12 years of Marketing/Sales Experience in a FMCG) Reports into – Executive Director for Personal Care Products Reportees – 10+ (Brand and Insight Managers) Location – Pune and Mumbai.
Role: Manages the specific category to deliver effective marketing mix, supporting sales and profit achievement.
The position directs and controls the category for country. The incumbent works across functions within the business unit to drive the implementation of approved category marketing plan. He/She provides category expertise on matters of Marketing and business planning and is expected to have knowledge on a broad range of general business and Marketing subjects.
Ideal Candidate An ideal candidate would be: - - Minimum 9-12 years post qualification experience in Product Management, Branding, New Product Launch, Sales, P&L Management and Category Management. - We are considering candidates only with FMCG Marketing experience. - Current/Past Exp of the candidate needs to have experience managing multiple categories of product lines. - Initial Sales Stint is an compulsory requirement; we are not considering candidates with no sales experience. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive projects to completion - Have good strategic mind combined with strong analytical skills; self starter; - Possess excellent interpersonal, communications, presentation and networking skills; - Must be highly results oriented with a keen eye on developing people & organization; - Strong business and commercial acumen; - Strong organizational skills; - Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; - Understands the sensitivities of cross geographic working and multi functional teams;
