Role : Head of Factory HR / IR of Chemical Tech Ops (part of global PSAI business of Dr Reddy’s)
Location : Hyderabad, India
Job responsibilities:
The incumbent shall be responsible for strategizing and implementing the entire People Process agenda in the site. The main responsibilities would be under the following buckets: * Organisational Effectiveness: This would include necessary interventions in structure, role clarity, manpower productivity, diversity management etc. Carry out effective manpower planning and ensure manpower costs are within the established controls. * Talent Management: Drive the entire talent management agenda of the corporation on site and carry out periodic reviews of the talent landscape and the possible gaps. Execute the induction process and train the site leadership on talent spotting skills. Ensure job rotation and career development plans are executed. Involve in the recruitment process along with the Talent Acquisition Team. Participate in Corporate initiatives in campus placements etc. * Performance Management: Implement the performance management system (PerfECT) in letter and spirit and facilitate the site in setting goals and provide clarity on the targets. Train the first line managers on performance review and coaching skills. Ensure performance issues are addressed and steps are taken to execute on consequence management. Implement rewards and recognition mechanism on the site. * Capability Building and Leadership Development: Facilitate the Technical Training Manager in implementation of capability building programmes. Develop the training matrix for the site and facilitate in delivery of the same either through in-house capability or with the help of Corporate Learning & Development wing. * Employee Champions: Conduct open houses, help cascading of strategic communications down the line and ensure skip level meetings are held. Redress employee queries and grievances within the agreed turn around time. Implement “Fun at Workplace” and other employee engagement activities. * Change Agents: Act as conscience keepers and facilitate in maintaining Culture and deployment of Values, Code of Business Ethics. * Administrative Experts: Ensure upkeep and correctness of basic employee data in both hard copy or SAP system. Ensure all basic administrative amenities are up to date and maintained in hygienic conditions. * Industrial Relations: Supervise all site IR matters in conjunction with Head IR. Ensure settlement conditions are fulfilled. Participate in future settlement discussions along with Head IR. * Contract Labour: Review and control contract labour along with Site Head. * Act as a sounding board to the Site Leadership on all people processes matters. Participate in business issues of importance. * Volunteer and involve in other HR initiatives either at the business level or at the corporate level.
Qualification & Experience: * Preferably an MBA –HR / MSW with about 6-10 years experience and having experience in manufacturing industries.
