1. Role and Responsibilities
The role of a Business Analyst will be to work closely with the senior management team on strategic business issues. The specific responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following: - Assist in preparation of strategic plan/ business plans/operating plans/budgets for the company. - Preparation of project reports, presentations to investors, shareholders and other stakeholders, - Financial analysis of the performance of the company and the centers. - Providing MIS to the management and board, - Collection and analysis of industry and competitor data and trends. - Co-ordinating Due Diligence process as and when scheduled
2. Qualifications, Knowledge and skills required:
- Should be a MBA (Finance) from a premier Business School with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Investment Banking/Consulting/EA positions. Exposure to Healthcare sector would be an advantage (not mandatory). - Should have a strong flair for numbers, understanding of P&L, Reporting practices/methodologies etc. - Should be able to obtain required data from the system/operations teams & convert it to an efficient reporting format for review. - Should be knowledgeable about budgets, forecasts/projections, margin analysis, valuation procedures etc. - Should be able to quickly learn the business processes of a chain of Day Surgery centers and advise the management on business performance improvements
Good communication, presentation skills with a pleasant personality are must for the job.
