Regional Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities
1. Managing all logistics and supply chain of a region as the District resource and Heading a team of eight to ten resources and managing the field team performance

2. Coordinating with the head office team along with Daily/weekly/monthly reporting of critical performance indices

3. All order execution on time in full

4. Managing inventory, warehousing and deep understanding of the critical indices and key performance parameters of the logistics function

5. Managing transporter relationships, Negotiation and finalization of handling rates and  Secondary transportation rates from warehouse to Wholesale Dealer locations

6. Managing and training WSP (Warehouse Service Providers)/ Labour contractors

7. Providing SAP guidance and support to the field resources

8. Following all Statutory compliances

Critical skills (Essentials)
1. In depth knowledge and rich experience of transportation, warehousing and Logistics operations

2. Hands on SAP knowledge

3. Strong communication negotiation skills

Preferred Candidates
1. Year 2006/07 pass outs of campuses like NITIE (From Industrial Engineering or Industrial management) / SP Jain / IIT Bombay School of management

2. Resources handling Regional Logistics Manager profiles in major companies like Reckitt Benckiser (RB) / Pepsi Co./ Coke /  Frito Lays and other FMCGs or Durables like LG / Samsung/sony or Tyre companies like Apollo / Ceat  / Michelin / Bridgestone with a work-ex of 6-8 years

Package: Rs. 10.5 to 11.5 Lacs.

Location: Currently Kolkata but subject to transfer
