Key Responsibilities
I. Planning & Budgeting: - Revenue Forecasting and Contribution to top line - Annual Revenue targets of USD 10 million. - Manage P & L of the assigned business
II. Generating Sales funnel & Acquisition of New Accounts and strategic partnerships with Telecom operators - Will be responsible for acquisition of large and competition accounts primarily operators (Bharti Airtel, Aircel, DoCoMo, BSNL, MTNL, Unitech ) - Develop and acquire accounts from Handset Manufacturers (Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, LG Mobile) - Manage a regional sales force across PAN India to have a strong focus over the accounts - Strategize and plan roadmap for the team / which also requires building a strong team - Penetrate into new accounts, convert competition revenues and retain/enhance market share in the Key accounts - Develop strategies for revenue generation and retention of Key customers - Work closely with the pre- sales team to Identify, develop and help customize the Products/Solutions - To identify the new opportunity for large Enterprise solutions.
Target Industry Vs Our Products: - Operators: Telecom Products like OBD, SMSC, MCA, USSD, License Manager, 3G, SDP Products - New Media: Short code Management - Handset Manufacturer : License Manager, Rapper, Inap Billing etc
III. Retention/Growth of existing accounts - Serve as a consultant to clients by understanding critical business processes, evaluating options, proposing options and implementing enterprise wide solutions in this area. - Pitch new Company’s products & grow revenues with existing Operators, Media, Handset Manufacturers & Enterprises:
IV. Reporting, Performance Management & Appraisals: - Periodic reporting of top line, gross margin & growth
The Selected candidate should be: * Graduation with first class preferably B.Tech in ECE or Telecom * MBA in Sales & Marketing from an Institute of repute * 10 + years experience in Business development & Sales in Telecom Industry/sector particularly VAS * Desirable: Experience in acquiring & managing large accounts preferably operators. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with senior management of customers * Should have good Analytical skills, exposure to pricing and service enhancements * Effective communicator with good Interpersonal & Team Management Skills * Responsible for meeting defined Sales targets
