Job Profile

Custom Application Development:
    * Requirements modeling – As Is process modeling, To Be process modeling, High Level object sequence diagrams, use case analysis, gap analysis, functional story boards, prototype UI Design etc.
    * Understand business concepts, and translate into detailed functional requirements.
    * Interact with the development team and explain the requirements
    * Assist in training the business users at client locations.
    * Participate in functional testing and sign off
    * Ensure compliance with organizational standards and processes
    *  

Product implementation:

    * Identify client requirements, and define the business solution based on the company products.
    * Identify gaps and analyze them
    * Negotiate solution options with customers.
    * Maintain high level of knowledge of the product features, customization principles and functionality.
    * Liaise with customers to gather and define business requirements.
    * Suggest process improvements.
    * Participate in functional testing and sign-off from business stakeholders
    * Interact with technical staff to provide clarifications.
    * Guide the BA team in ensuring that the product is implemented correctly
    * Ensure compliance with organizational standards and processes

Required Competency / Skills:

    * Good experience in the consulting business that has included business analysis, business design reviews, implementation, user acceptance testing, documentation and functional reviews.
    * Good experience in and understanding of various P & C insurance processes across personal and commercial lines
    * Ability to conceptualize and think creatively.
    * Ability to explain complex business and technical issues in plain English.
    * Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites
    * Good grasp of technical concepts
    * Must be proactive and possess the ability to work independently
    * Excellent problem solving skills
    * Excellent customer interaction skills with domain and IT users
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    * Exposure to IBM IAA and ACORD standards
