Job Profile:
Guiding his team in developing proposal and detailed engg drawing/thermal analysis of components of solar/power block components in power plant.
- Up to date knowledge on technology evolution in the field of thermal engineering .
- Provides in-depth technical expertise in the field of thermal engineering.

- Accepting responsibility and a level of accountability commensurate with the seniority of the position.
- Providing advice and consultancy support in purchasing equipments

Supervisory responsibilities:

Candidate Profile:
Engineers (preferably with M.E./M.Tech in Thermal Engineering) and 10-20 years experience related to thermal power projects or chemical organisations.
Should have a thorough understanding of the operational processes of an organisation and have a truly multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchasing and design. He/She would be expected to Guide in development of Proposal & detailed Drawings/Thermal analysis of components in power plant. Responsibie to align resources, internal and external, manpower and materials in order to achieve technical excellence. Expected to facilitate business objectives while guiding employees towards their all round development in this field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Understanding of thermal engineering related to solar technology as well as to power block components.
- Demonstrated history of successful designs/engineering in thermal field.
- Knowledge in the field of Piping, Heat loss analysis, Thermal analysis & modeling of components used in solar Power Plants such as Receiver tubes, mirrors, expansion tanks, Thermal Storage Tanks, pumps etc.
- Conversant with IS, IBR, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, BS & DIN codes and standards with application knowledge of software packages (Autocad, PDS, Gate Cycle or Equivalent/AFT Fathom/ Impulse/Pipenet, Smart Plant P&ID, E 20-II etc.) in use.
- Having proven ability to design and integrate the balance of plant systems in the power block considering the cost economic benefits of various options.
- He should be able to develop the entire plant concept and should be conversant in developing the detailed design of all the equipments, piping and interconnections involved.
- Strong ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities at once.
- Strong ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere.
- Fluent oral and written English communication skills.
