Location: Client Profile: A large, multi-billion, leading, professionally managed, rapidly growing organisation setting up power projects - leaders in their field.The organisation is part of one of the largest, financially stable and most admired corporates of India.
CTO Solar Power: The position is based in Mumbai. Our clients offer excellent salary/perks and career growth paths.
KRAs: Will be overall responsible for technical management of all the current and future solar technologies. Evaluate the Solar technology which will offer long term benefits to the company. Plan and strategize, for the commercial operationalisation of the selected technologies. Partner with CEO in managing overall day-to-day operations to bring down infrastructure/installation costs for solar projects, improve technical performance for end-user satisfaction.
Job Profile:
- Providing leadership in planning, managing and development of Solar Thermal Technology (CSP and PV) and its commercial competitiveness
- Providing technology vision enabling innovation and understanding the future trends that can create business value.
- Keeping a tab on technology evolution that influences technical and related business aspects for enterprise-wide business decisions.
- Managing the IP rights for the company for the technologies and processes developed.
- Ensuring technology performance and service level requirements are met.
- Managing Technical resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands.
- Implementing continuous improvement programs within company guidelines.
- Managing strategic relationships with key Technology providers and key individuals.
- Providing in-depth technical expertise for both tactical and operational initiatives.
- Demonstrating exemplary leadership skills to create and develop a high performance, work team(s) and a results-focused work environment of inclusion, fairness and employee engagement.
Candidate Profile: M.S. / M.E. from a reputed institute. (PhD on Solar Technology is an added advantage). Must have 15-25 years experience with a minimum of 7-10 years of directly related Solar Industry experience.
