We are currently looking for a  Warehouse Manager- Regional Distribution Centre- East position with the topmost Consumer Electronics, Appliances and Electrical Accessories MNCs in India. The position is to be based at Kolkata

Candidate Profile : MBA/PG Diploma in Logistics/Supply chain management. Atleast 10 years out of which 2-3 years in managing large Warehouses independently

Key Responsibilities

    * Plan, Lead, direct & Manage entire operation of Regional Distribution Centre in order to achieve consistently high quality service levels to both internal and external customers.
    * Effective implementation of Logistics Processes and Seek for continuous improvement initiatives in respective areas of inventory control, supply chain security and best-in-class warehouse and distribution management.
    * Motivate & Train Warehouse staff for adhering to good warehousing practices and achieve operational excellence.
    * Develop & Promote healthy partnership with Logistics Service Providers and also establish/design management control & check points to achieve higher performance standards
    * Provide high quality of services & operational excellence to business sectors
    * Support cost of non-quality avoidance and demand/supply side savings projects
    * Cost and efficiency improvement planning
    * Interpret new business requirements of each business sectors, facilitate the design of cost effective logistics processes with 3PL and negotiate for a prompt implementation.
