EXECUTIVE HIRING looking for a BRANCH SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER for a Large MNC FMCG. Location - MUMBAI.

Candidates from NITIE, MDI, SP Jain from 2001 - 2003 batchers, experience in designing process solutions in the area of supply chain in a large FMCG / Manufacturing organization, interested to be a part of the growing organisation in the globe, need to apply.

KRA’s
 - To coordinate all the facets of the Branch Supply Chain (Customer Service, Demand Planning, Distribution & Logistics) to deliver desired Customer Service Levels at optimal distribution cost and ensure Customer Satisfaction

 - To identify the need to create & expand the regional supply Chain infrastructure in line with the business requirements, prepare the proposal and implement the same post due authorization.

 - To formulate strategies ensuring high CSLs at optimum “Cost to Serve” with high Customer focus.

 - Ensure systems are in place for smooth flow of stocks from upstream to downstream to ensure no stock outs/loss of sales and aging of the material.

 - To ensure high level of coordination with the sales management and be a part of all decision making processes in the branch especially the one related to Demand Planning, events, appointment of CDs/RDs and their service plan, Order-to-Cash process, stock holding norms, logistics and distribution.

 - To guide and lead the Demand Planning team to deliver close to accurate demand plans in coordination with the sales and Customer Service and further refine the process by using new tools in the area.

 - To strategize and guide the logistics team to develop a robust network for effective and efficient distribution of FG and POS, to deliver savings/optimize service costs thru Innovations and renovations.

 - Develop carriers, DC operators and other third-party service providers to meet the distribution requirements of the region. Negotiate the rates and other business terms with them for overall improvement in the cost to serve, sales growth and service levels.

 - Ensure the branch SCM team works in sync with the factories and Head Office to ensure a smooth flow of information for accurate decision making.

 - Initiate various Projects in the branch to achieve efficiencies and improvements in Supply Chain in the areas of Demand Planning, Logistics, Quality-in-distribution, Safety & security at DCs & secondary distribution, product freshness and environment.

 - Communicates the Corporate supply chain strategies and their implementation in the branch in coordination with the Sales management.

 - Conduct trainings for the SCM staff and all third party staff involved in the “Order To Cash” to be abreast with the correct procedures, Best Practices and latest developments in Quality related to Product.

 - Strive to identify potential SCM personal from the sales team and plan to nurture & Develop skills of these people and create a talent pool of SCM.

 - Project and highlight Branch SCM achievements.

 - Be aware of all Issues at the DCs and ensure resolution of these in the best interest of the company.

 - Be aware and advise the team on all quality related developments, instructions, mandates related to the products.

 - Evaluate the requirements of Logistics, Customer Service, Order To Cash over the MBS period and prepare action plan to address the possible gaps and seek approval to bridge the same.

 - Develop Efficient Material Handling & storage arrangements in the warehouses for effective throughput of FG across all the DCs.

 - Periodic meetings and development programs for CDs and DCs to improve their preparedness to meet the overall business requirements.

 - Lead various improvement projects to refine the performance of supply chain in the areas of distribution, logistics, freshness, customer service, safety & security and ensure the implementation of the good business practices in the region.

 - Ensure the adherence of Globe best practices for Ensuring Supply

Take ownership for Supply Chain’s contribution to Modern Trade development and servicing. Work with Key Accounts for adoption of the Co.’s quality and warehousing practices. Maintain a good rapport with the key contacts in modern trade and represent the company at important meetings.
