General Manager (Urban Planning), Design

These are 2 identical opportunities in 2 different cities. The role in Bangalore is with a leading Real Estate Developer. The company, with a T/O of over 1300Cr, has more than 10 ongoing projects and specializes in Residential, Commercial, Hotel, IT Parks and Retail. The second role is in Mumbai with a leading Infrastructure company which is building Greenfield Projects around Mumbai.

Salary: Between 25 – 35 lacs

The Role
As a design planner working from the Head Office, this person is required to plan and monitor all the design work for the organization.

Some of the Responsibilities
 - Creating Master Plan, Report documents & Development Control Guidelines.
 - Developing space standards & planning standards using international codes of practice, with regards to the climatic & socio-economic conditions. Understanding the Urban Planning Legislation.
 - Pre-Feasibility study for major projects mentioned in concept plan.
 - Assist authority in formulation of Zoning regulations, Development control regulation & Institutional framework for implementation.
 - Provide technical support to urban planning team & proposal managers.
 - Master planning, Report writing & documentation
 - Support Utilities & Transport Planning team
 - Development Guidelines, Zonal regulations
 - Team leadership
 - Coordination
 - Liaison with local Authorities
 - Relationship management
 - Heading meetings with client
 - Drafting project brief & scope of work
 - Listing Deliverables
 - Periodic progress report making

Essentials
 - Over 15 years of experience
 - B. Arch from a reputed University, Masters Degree is preferred
 - Must have worked on large mixed use projects, 5 star hotels or other iconic projects.
