Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer for the Big 4 MNC Technoppark, you'll combine our financial objectives with your extensive accounting and leadership experience to provide an effective and robust finance function.  

You will direct the development and execution of the strategic planning for all finance related matters in the sub area.  You will provide vision and leadership to a high-performing team, giving motivation, strategic direction and helping people build their skills.  

Role and Responsibilities

    * Responsible for developing financial plans, identification of critical success factors and recognizing trends.
    * Must be able to develop action plans, implement new processes and dedicate or assign resources to tasks as appropriate to attack weaknesses in operations and exploit strengths
    * Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the finance discipline
    * Monitor, tracks and reports financial results against goals and historical results; identifies opportunities to improve profitability
    * Manage the treasury function, including cashflow forecasting and reporting, efficient working capital and cash management practices
    * Actively interface with other CFOs to maximize knowledge sharing throughout the firm
    * Team with peers in human resources and sales/marketing to improve results
    * Significant interaction with leaders and human resources to manage capacity and provide reliable and predictable financial information with respect to staffing levels and related changeability
    * Initiatives such as evaluating client economics and working with leaders on continuance or re-acceptance
    * Conduct due diligence on new investments
    * Manage the corporate accounting functions, including monthly management reporting, annual budgeting, cash flow forecast
    * Responsible for timeliness of monthly closing process, accuracy of monthly results and timeliness and quality of financial plans and forecasts within EY Global and Area policies and timelines requirements

People responsibilities  
    * Build strong internal relationships
    * Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring all levels of staff
    * Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
    * Drive people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training staff
    * Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis.
    * Understand, follow and communicate workplace policies and procedures to all levels of staff

Technical skills requirements   
    * In-depth experience, 10+yrs in a similar role preferably in a Shared Services.
    * Demonstrated ability to lead a regional finance function
    * Relevant public accounting or industry experience
    * Accounting qualification (CA/ICWA/CPA)
    * Fluent in English

Additional Requirements  
    * Strong knowledge of the firm's business to lead strategic and financial planning
    * Must be knowledgeable of and adhere to Firm policies such as Independence
    * Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
    * Well developed collaboration, presentation and influencing skills
    * Structured communication skills and a professional presence
