Location: Designation: Deputy Manager- Financial Accounting
Reporting to: DGM Finance
Location: Gurgaon
Reportees: None- Individual team player
Job Desciption:
- Ensure complete data integrity of General Ledger in respect of completeness and accuracy-review and analysis of accounts schedules on a monthly basis
- Monthly closure of financial accounting processes as per calendar for finalization of the Trial Balance and general ledger as per Local GAAP
- Preparation and finalisation of Local GAAP financial statements- Monthly/Qtrly/Annual, fully complying with applicable accounting standards and requirements of Companies Act/other regulatory standards
- Smooth conduct of financial accounting processes (Accounts payable, employee reimbursements, pay roll etc.) adhering to applicable finance policies and procedures
- Ensure smooth conduct of Statutory /Tax /Internal audits- efficient /effective interface with Auditors
- Facilitate the implementation, documentation, testing and certification under SOX audit
- Ensure full compliance to IFRS standards and applicable group accounting policies-Drive IFRS transition of local GAAP financial statements
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
* Qualification: C.A. with 1-3 years of experience in financial accounting function
* Technical /Functional skills: Good technical and functional knowledge of accounting standards, requirements of Companies Act, finalisation of accounts, strong analytical skills
* Effective Communicator: Both 1:1 and 1: to many, verbal and written, excellent relation-building skills
