Designation:  Vice President- Internal Audit

Location: Hyderabad (Corporate Office)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Summary: The Vice President - Internal Audit is responsible for undertaking strategic initiatives to maintain and improve the audit function. The position will oversee and enhance the efficacy of the Internal Audit department and introduce new internal controls.

Responsibilities:
 - Elaborate annual audit plans based on a risk assessment of the Company and propose for validation.

 - To establish and sustain a strengthened Internal control environment by evaluating internal controls, risks & reporting any exceptions to the defined policies, processes, laws & regulations as well as identifying opportunities to make processes more robust and efficient.

 - Conduct audit assignments according to the plans, draft audit reports and carry out recommendation follow-ups. The audit sphere shall cover the whole activities of the company viz., Investments, Operations, Risk, HR, IT, etc.

 - Carry out special audit assignments on specific subjects upon the request of the management of the Company.

 - Ensure effective and timely communication of audit results by discussing with management control weaknesses identified and recommended corrective action.

 - Keep abreast of current developments in internal auditing standards, best practices, security and fraud detection concepts and emerging issues

 - Liaise with the statutory auditors and with all the internal audit firms working for the Co., analyze their reports and supervise implementation of recommendations made by them.

Required Education and Experience:
 - CA / ICWA
 - 12 + years experience in Auditing/Quality/Risk
