Position: Sr. Manager/Associate Director (People and Change Management)
Location: Mumbai
Qualification & Experience Required: - MBA/PGDM in HR from Premier B- School. - 7-10 years of experience, consulting background would be preferred. - Strong analytical ability - Excellent communication and presentation skills
Job summary Incumbent would be accountable for delivery of Human Capital consulting engagements / modules under her / his charge, ensuring that all required services are provided according to agreed service levels for the client, maintaining the firm’s brand value and reputation. He/she would contribute to development of Company points of view / intellectual property in the Human Capital field. Incumbent should have the ability to provide timely advice on key business trends that impact business and ability to act as a sounding board for clients on making investment decisions. Incumbent should also have the ability to employ research methods that aid in clients making informed decisions with respect to organization strategy and ability to review organizations and provide management advice on the performance and structure of client organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
People Management - Creates and leads high performing teams and values diversity of talents and cultures - Communicates BPS vision of the future that inspires the team, and provides periodic updates to teams on the direction that the firm and department is taking. - Creates an environment which encourages and rewards coaching as a critical management responsibility
Client Management - Builds long-term relationships with key client decision makers which are based on mutual respect, acts as a trusted adviser to key decision makers - Actively seeks feedback on performance of the team and modifies approach to ensure client satisfaction - Anticipates clients’ needs well beyond current engagements, adding value to the clients’ long term business
Project Management - Leads and directs multiple engagements profitably - Identifies when projects have or are likely to run inefficiently and takes steps to avoid recurrence in future - Identifies need for and leads change initiatives that will enhance project and management processes - Anticipates a range of issues/opportunities when managing major changes and plans to enlist requisite expertise - Reviews and provides input to the development of project plans
Practice Development - Contributes to continued growth and profitability for the firm, by identifying and capitalizing on business development opportunities in existing and potential clients for own and other areas of the firm
- Manages the overall proposal process to maximize “wins”, by relating all aspects of the firm’s service to the client’s business perspective and commercial drivers
Knowledge Management - Contributes to implementing and enhancing the firms policies and procedures for knowledge management and management of the firm’s intellectual capital - Acts promptly to rectify and repair any risk to the firm or it’s clients in relation to intellectual capital
