Location: The client is  an international life insurance company has businesses in over twenty markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia, JV between  a global financial services group with a presence across Asia, Africa, Middle East, Europe and the Americas. In India,  the group offers a wide array of products and services ranging from insurance, asset management, broking and lending solutions to investment banking and wealth management. The group has also pioneered the concept of investments in alternative asset classes such as arts and films .With 10,000 plus employees across multiple geographies, it serves over a million clients, including corporates and institutions, high net worth families and individuals, and retail investors.

Role –AVP Distribution HR

Reporting To- Head HR

Location – Mumbai/Delhi

People reporting- 4 Direct Reports , Total team size is 30

KEY PURPOSE:
 - Responsible for implementation across HR processes at the Head Office as well as Zones and Branches and for providing leadership to the HR teams at the Zones/Branches while managing HR operations, budgeting, exits, compliance as per statutes.

 - The role is that of a HR Business partner across all channels of distribution.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 - Ensures the quality of business HR Delivery across Company’s operations in the country. This covers all HR processes such as recruitment, training delivery, performance management, engagement and retention at the Distribution level.

 - Responsible for Compliance with local statutes and appropriate action across the country.

 - Provide leadership and direction to Zonal HR Managers in addressing employee queries and implementing engagement activities.

 - Ensuring Voice of Customer is adequately represented so that suitable intervention can be designed and deployed

 - Ensures a Day One experience is created for all new hires

 - Represents the Face of HR at the Zones/Branches and ensures consistent implementation of HR processes
