Description
Manage a project with the authority and responsibility to run the project on a day-to-day basis and to deliver the same to effort, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.

Roles & Responsibilities
At Wipro Technologies, You would be responsible for the below:  

1. Delivery:
     - Responsible for developing the project plan, ensuring review and sign-offs with the required internal and stakeholders
     - Responsible for work allocation across the different modules of the project and monitoring and tracking progress of the project
     - Responsible for managing project risks including mitigation and contingency plans
     - Responsible for adopting technical and quality strategy (preventive and corrective measures as required)
     - Responsible for quality of deliverables and for adopting and following defined project gating process and any defined assurance roles
     - Responsible for maintenance and tracking of the  various project metrics
     - Report on a regular basis the project status to internal and external stakeholders
     - Responsible for any synchronization/feeding into any defined program management activities
     - Conduction periodic stage evaluation (phase wise learning) and project evaluation towards the end of the project and reporting into organization database/knowledge repository

2. Leadership:
     - Engage defined escalation and communication layers to ensure conflicts, risks and challenges are handled appropriately
     - Establish and provide an conducive atmosphere for the project team to engage and deliver
     - Manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders of the project

3. People: Manage the project team. Be accountable for the performance and development of team to support an environment for employee development through training , mentoring and motivating sub-ordinates and mapping employee aspirations
