Key Accountabilities
Interact with Business stakeholders, operations and Senior Business Analysts in UK, to understand "as is" process and "would be" processes. Perform detailed analysis on functionality to facilitate Test Manager in estimation, test strategy development and test planning. Identify scope changes and its impact on UAT testing. Identify Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies under which plans and estimates are given. Pass on knowledge to testers in a meaningful way. Guide testers in development of the end to end business testing scenarios; and writing test cases. During test preparation phase provide required clarifications and guidance to the testing team. Identify data requirements including data retention requirements and assess current state/risk associated with quality of data, partnering with Data Analysts to analyse new data sources, data content, archiving and purging strategies and data "behaviour" for conformance to requirements, anomalies, quality, consistency. Actively participate in training new resources coming on board for the test execution. Coach and develop others, within and outside the Testing team in domain and best practices in business. Work with application developers to resolve functional issues from UAT, and to help find solutions for various functional difficulty areas. Work with Application Management area for functional area trouble shooting & resolution to reported bugs / issues on applications Support the software release and deployment process. Participate in UAT test execution phase for executing and validating high priority test cases. Provide required support and guidance to the testers during test execution phase.
Skills/Competencies Direct experience in Payment Processing domain is must.. He must have knowledge of MT messages, CHAPS, Target 2, BIPS, , BACS, Faster Payment, SEPA, nostro / vostro reconciliations, Liquidity management. Experience of working with product Global Pay Plus (GPP) from Fundtech or similar product is must. Must have eye for detail and strong sense of ownership. Must be able to work with little or no supervision. Experience with transformation and migration projects will be an added advantage. Should be able to listen actively and critically analyse issues to provide appropriate suggestions / solutions. Should have excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage relationships and expectations of the business users and work with staff at all levels. High Customer and service orientation. Inclination towards technology.
