Location: Please find below the job description for the position of Solution Architect – SAP
“Architect - SAP Solutions”
- Works closely with geographical Sales, delivery organizations of Capgemini’s and part of SAP Solution team in building cost effective solutions for the customer
- Ability to transform customer requirements into workable designs at the functional and technical levels for the SAP Implementation and rollouts that involve Core and New Dimension Products
- Articulates the structured and convincing proposed solutions for the pursuits
- Ability to understand and build innovative delivery and pricing models
- Participate in solution workshops to understand customer requirements, Due Diligence, and Proposal Defense sessions, knowledge sharing session
- 4 to 7 years of experience in handling SAP implementation (or) Delivery responsibilities
- At least 1 year of hands on experience of crafting SAP solutions, preparing customer presentation, key messages/value prop identification & articulation etc
- Ability to develop effort and cost estimates for implementation and upgrade solutions for ERP core modules, and at least with one of the SAP new dimension products ( APO, MDM, SCM, CRM/SRM, HCM)
- Knowledge of SAP Netweaver components, eSOA, IS Products, SAP solution manager is preferred
- Should have demonstrated good Orals and Written skills to effectively articulate the Solutions
- Ability to work on multiple pursuits simultaneously
- Good knowledge of Estimation methods, norms and industry benchmarks
- Good understanding of pre-sales and sales cycles
