Architect – Oracle E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft Solutions
 - Provides functional & technical leadership for the entire pre-sales of Oracle APPS / PeopleSoft related new business opportunities

 - Undertake a key role in helping translate business requirements into functional specifications by working closely with the Customers, Bid Leaders, Onsite/Offshore Internal & External Teams.

 - Responsible for accurate effort estimation for Oracle Apps & PeopleSoft (Implementations, Upgrades, Global Rollouts, Interface Developments, Templates, Sizing etc.)

 - Ideates and defines differentiated offerings/ solution for specific customers based on the company's capability, strengths, customer foot print, customer pain areas in that technology/ domain.

 - Demonstrable ability to produce clear documentation, designs and specifications. Detailed knowledge of Oracle applications including SOA, its application to HR, Operations and finance functions and use as a reporting tool for management information, preferably OBIEE.

 - Demonstrate understanding of all aspects of Oracle Apps & PeopleSoft support, including DBA, System Administration, Technical and Functional support.

 - Knowledge of tools and approaches for management information reporting, their relative strengths and weaknesses and their application in a complex business environment. Substantial experience of dealing with technology suppliers. Excellent time management and prioritization skills, able to maintain strategic perspective while undertaking complex and detailed work, with proven ability to deliver results within agreed timescales and to work within tight timeframes.

 - Forward thinking and stay informed of ever changing Oracle softwares, databases, fusion middleware, SOA, BI and make recommendations. Keeping track of Oracle product features/ functions/releases, and Oracle product roadmaps.

 - Influences decisions and project direction at the executive level (Relationship Management).


 - 10+ years of overall IT experience.

 - 8+ years of extensive experience in dealing with Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.9 / R12 or PeopleSoft 9 environment, analyzing requirements and accurate effort estimation for Implementations, Upgrades, Global Rollouts, Interface Developments, Templates, Sizing etc.

 - Should have done atleast 4 full life cycle Oracle implementations & Upgrades on ERP at client location.

 - Good understanding of the Oracle E-Business applications framework and in-depth knowledge and experience with the Oracle technology stack (i.e., Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Application Server, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Developer)

 - In-depth understanding of the PeopleSoft architecture, including the installation of the product; the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture; the third-party software requirements preferred

 - Trained in PeopleSoft's PeopleTools 8.49 development suite preferred

 - Strong skills in one or more of the following: vision and strategy (VS), business area architecture (BAA), iterative custom development (ICD), package-based development (PBD), and accelerated application development (X/AD)

 - Ability to work with technicians and functional analysts to translate functional and technical requirements, into a solution design, experience creating comprehensive technical architecture diagrams and documentation

 - Experience working with capacity planning concepts for systems of all sizes and complexities.

 - Experience working with technical trends to assess the future direction of technology
