Location: We are trying to identify a senior level IT professional to lead the IT department of a multi national manufacturing company for the 3 factories in Chakan (Pune.)
LOCATION: Pune
JOB TITLE: IT Head
JOB DESCRIPTION :
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- IT Infrastructure planning & Support
- Budgeting for the entire financial year for IT infrastructure for all plants in Pune.
- Manpower planning for the execution of the same.
- WAN planning and establishment for other plants and Internet service.
- Router, Switch, firewall configuration for IT security and controlling WAN traffic gateway. Server optimization for all IT resources.
- Training for departmental people & New Joining
- Training needs identification, organization and execution including SAP.
- Organizing SAP training for all new joinees.
- SAP Exe interface between Pune and Delhi/UK
- ERP support (SAP R/3) for functional and technical needs.
- Operating System and Data Base support for ERP.
- Interface, Trouble shooting and for SAP related queries with the help of Group team.
Project Management
- Ensuring smooth functioning of IT systems including ERP in all the plants.
Technical Skills
- Strong exposure to SAP ( Functional modules & Technical )
- Knowledge of BASIS
- Knowledge of WAN & LAN ( Firewall, router, Switch)
Project Management Skills
Interpersonal skills, coordination skills, Analytical ability. Have ability to treat internal users as customers and fulfill their requirements in a timely manner.
Knowledge of manufacturing business functions.
EXPERIENCE:
12-14 Years ( 5 Years in Managerial position). He should have completed at least 5 years as IT/Managerial function in an end user organization, preferably discrete manufacturing organization. Candidate should be effective, persuasive and possess extensive inter-personal, communication & change management skills and be able to persuade the business users and manage IT Infrastructure as well users requirements in the ERP domain. Experience with PP&C/materials will be preferable. • Project execution IT Infrastructure and SAP support and implementation experience)
Budget – up to 20 lakh pa
