Position Summary
As Product Manager, you will define the products that make an impact within Adobe as well as software industry as a whole. You have the vision to shape product strategy, the passion to understand and articulate customer needs and the determination to build and ship products that are better than the best around.
Primary responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of customer needs, industry market trends and competitive landscape.
- Meet with customers to understand their workflows and pain points.
- Drive the product concept and product requirements based on customer needs and ideas that come from various sources.
- Evaluate and prioritize the requirements and develop them into a feature set.
- Engage engineering and other teams for detailed specification and implementation.
- Work with them on a day‐to‐day basis for prioritizing tasks and for continuously enhancing the product.
- Work with marketing for product positioning, go‐to‐market strategy, messaging and product launch.
- Work with cross‐functional internal team (sales, legal, pre‐release etc.) and manage relationship with key product partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are core requirements.
- Must have a strong track record of successfully bringing products to market and working across multiple product groups and with cross functional teams.
- A bachelors degree in a technical field is required, and an MBA is preferred.
