The Role Responsible for managing The company’s India IT Development Department and ensuring a smooth functioning of the IT Development business operations at The company. Direct and manage a team of Developers and Business Analysts. Ensuring availability of development support, to meet all current and future business requirements at The company. Plan and coordinate IT development opportunities for The company’s BPO activities.
Responsibilities · Responsible for Lotus Notes/Domino Application development, Lotus notes Application migration, capacity planning, Project Management, Systems Analysis/Design, IT Strategy and Planning, Budgeting, Business Process Analysis, GAP Analysis, Workflow Design, IT Best Practices, Business proposal preparation.
· Design, development, testing and implementation of intranet portals, collaboration applications.
· Analyze existing applications and define future roadmaps in development areas meeting organizational requirements.
· Supervise all stages of software development life cycle including system analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance and documentation.
· Carry out evaluation of process quality and adherence to software product standards, processes & procedures assuring that standards are established and followed in software development life cycle.
· Ensure compliance with ISO / ISMS / SAS 70 standards by process monitoring and internal audits. The standards include - Documentation Standards, Design Standards and Code Standards.
· Handling Solution Design Phase for the clients’ requirements.
· Identifying business core / critical system / processes and priorities.
· Resolving support / operational issues in liaison with line managers and business groups.
· Developing, implementing & providing all kinds of support for business application software.
· Achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring service quality norms and building the brand image by exceeding customer expectations.
· Project planning, scoping, estimating, tracking
· Implementing project plans within preset budgets and deadlines.
Qualification, Experience and Required Skills · Graduate / Post-graduate in Systems from a reputed Institute
· Certification in Project Management (PMP) would be preferred.
· 10-15 years of experience in software development.
· 4-5 years of experience in Domino development is preferred.
· Leading a team of at least 10 people with very good team management skills.
· Experience in managing complete SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and should have experience in providing support for production application.
· Good experience in different quality framework (ISO 9000, ISO 27001, Six Sigma, etc.) Certification in these quality frameworks would be an added advantage.
· High achiever, with continual career development including hands-on rigorous process improvement experience.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence at all levels. Possesses high energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountability.
· International working experience and good understanding of other cultures.
· Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
· Capability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment.
