Location:
One to two years experience in either of the following:
1. IT consulting: Should have worked on mySAP platform (R/3, SAP BW, SAP
CRM, SAP Portals) with at least one full implementation cycle
2. In-house IT: Should have worked on mySAP platform (R/3, SAP BW, SAP
CRM, SAP Portals) as part of a core implementation team.
3. Software Development: Should have worked on latest technologies like
WebMethods, J2EE, Informatica on enterprise scale projects
4. Have done extensive work in design and development of enterprise
applications on RDBMS like Oracle/Sybase- Exposure to Java and related
technologies would be an added advantage.
- Receive, collate and analyze user requirements, examine feasibility,
configure and design system, validate with users, implement, trouble shoot ,
resolve queries, document processes, document critical aspects of system
design to ensure that new processes and system modifications are
incorporated in applications ( SAP R/3, CRM, BW, i2, in house developed
platforms etc.)
- Communicate with vendors, analyze software capability, provide content
for pilot development, run pilot projects and provide feasibility feedback
in order to evaluate new software and applications.
- Monitor subordinate work completion against deadlines, provide
guidance/inputs/ feedback, resolve issues and motivate for performance in
order to ensure timely work completion
- Provide answers to escalated end user queries in application areas
under domain of work and provide expert advice to resolve the same.
- Work in project teams and analyze system and user requirements, design
process, provide specs to developers, validate with users, document process
& manuals resolve queries post implementation
- Systems Analysis and Design: IT enabling of business processes by
studying, customizing and configuring software and hardware to meet business
requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Possess knowledge of IT software, hardware and
information management. Should be in a position to design processes and
systems using new technologies.
- Project Management: Handling either a small configuration/ development
project independently or a large part of a complex project. Project team can
span across functional boundaries.
