ROLE TITLE: IT Project Lead (TCS BPO Mumbai)

OVERALL PURPOSE: To provide optimum quality IT Project Management, support
and environment needed to assist in meeting the IT Objectives

KEY RESULT AREAS:
·     To liaison with outside contractors and enable the resolution of problems.
·     To ensure security and integrity of all VPN’s, LAN’s and WAN’s networks.
·     To enable and improve means of internal and external electronic communication worldwide.
·     To provide training for staff and nurture development of IT staff.
·     To ensure legality and integrity of operation in purchase, development and support operations in IT areas of hardware and software.
·     To liaison with all levels of IT and non-IT professionals.
·     To be able to evaluate and manage realistic budgets and deadlines to projects undertaken.
·     To be able to provide hands-on technical knowledge and assistance on routine work as well as project based.
·     Work in different shifts and ready to travel to Onsite location as per Project requirements.
·     Methodical and confident of confirming inputs to RFP/MSA/SLA documentations.

Ability to ensure that all requirements for clients are addressed in technology design

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS NEEDED:
 Should have knowledge on all IT domains, Hands on experience of LAN and
 WAN environments and components.
 Must have hands on experience on Firewalls, Experience in data and
 systems management.
 Policy compliance as per corporate guidelines, Escalations for critical
 IT related issues.
·     Report generation, Ability to establish and maintain good working
relationships with all levels of internal and external staff.
·     Good commercial knowledge and the understanding of businesses.
·     Good background knowledge and ability to understand IT operations and
systems/Networks on a range of hardware and software platforms.
·     Must have knowledge of high end Servers on different platforms.
 (HP, IBM, SUN, DELL)
 Must have knowledge of NAS and Storage products, Practical knowledge of
 PC environments as standard office and development platforms.
·     Knowledge of voice and data communication environments and
components.
·     Ability to communicate technical issues to individuals and groups,
verbally and in writing, in a manner appropriate to the recipient.
·     Ability to prepare business justifications for project expenditure,
Good judgment in prioritizing tasks, projects and expenditure.
